Correction Policy

Correction Policy

On the Sugar Daddy Planet blog we hold ourselves to content that is accurate, clear and responsible. When we find a mistake, we fix it openly — and we keep a record of what changed.

Last reviewed: June 17, 2026

When we publish on the Sugar Daddy Planet blog, we aim for accuracy, with no sensationalism and no misleading promises. When something is wrong, we correct it transparently and log the change. We also welcome guest contributions — see our Collaborations page for details.

1. What This Policy Covers

This policy covers the blog’s editorial content. Anything created by members of the Platform — profiles, messages and the like — is handled instead under our Active Response Policy and our Terms of Use.

2. Types of Changes and How We Label Them

When we change a published article, we tell readers what kind of change it was and why. Timestamps use U.S. Eastern Time (ET).

Type What it means How we flag it
Correction Fixes an inaccurate detail — a date, figure, name or link. A note at the top or bottom: “Correction (Month D, YYYY, h:mm a.m./p.m. ET): …”
Clarification Adds context so a passage isn’t misread. “Clarification (Month D, YYYY, h:mm a.m./p.m. ET): …”
Update Adds new, relevant information even though the original wasn’t wrong. “Update (Month D, YYYY, h:mm a.m./p.m. ET): …”
Rectification / Withdrawal Used when the heart of an article is wrong or problematic. “Rectification/Withdrawal (Month D, YYYY, h:mm a.m./p.m. ET): …” with an explanation; may include unpublishing with notice.

We never alter substantive content without leaving a trace. Minor typos that don’t change the meaning may be fixed without a note.

3. How We Correct Things

Every correction follows the same steps:

  1. Detection — whether we spot it ourselves or someone tells us.
  2. Verification — we check the facts against sources and evidence.
  3. Correction and a visible note — applied as set out in the table above.
  4. Logging it in the article’s Change History.
  5. A final review by the editorial team.

4. Reporting an Error

Spotted something wrong? Email info@sugardaddyplanet.us with the subject line “Correction request” and include:

  • The article URL and the exact paragraph.
  • A description of the possible error.
  • Any sources or evidence (links, documents).
  • Your contact details (optional, in case we need to follow up).

Indicative timeframes (full details in our Active Response Policy):

  • Acknowledgement: within 48 hours.
  • First substantive response: 2–3 days.
  • For complex cases: we’ll let you know the new estimate.

5. Right of Reply

If you believe something we published affects you and you’d like to respond, email info@sugardaddyplanet.us with the subject line “Right of reply” and include:

  • Who you are and your connection to the content.
  • Your proposed text (300–500 words max) and any supporting documentation.

Whether we publish it, and in what form, remains at the editorial team’s discretion, always aiming for fair treatment and proper context.

6. Inaccurate Personal Data

If an article contains inaccurate personal information, or you want to exercise your privacy rights, email info@sugardaddyplanet.us with the subject line “Privacy request.” You can ask us to access, correct or delete inaccurate personal information, along with the other rights described in our Privacy Policy. A correction to personal data can sit alongside the editorial correction note for transparency.

7. Each Article’s Change History

Every article carries a short history block at the end. For example:

Change History

  • June 17, 2026, 10:15 a.m. ET — Correction: detail X said “A” and was changed to “B.”
  • June 15, 2026, 9:00 a.m. ET — Update: 2026 study added.

8. What Isn’t a Correction

Some things fall outside this policy:

  • Differences of opinion or editorial approach.
  • Requests to remove accurate information that is in the legitimate public interest.
  • Cosmetic edits that don’t change the meaning.

9. Contact

For corrections, right of reply and privacy requests, email info@sugardaddyplanet.us using the subject lines above so we can route your message, or use our contact form.

The blog is operated by Polaris Nexus LLC, 1621 Central Ave, Cheyenne, WY 82001, United States.

10. Updates

We may update this policy to improve our procedures or to meet legal requirements. The “Last reviewed” date at the top shows the current version.
