Age Verification Policy
Sugar Daddy Planet is strictly for adults. How we confirm age, what data is involved, and what happens if a minor is found.
Last updated: August 28, 2026
Polaris Nexus LLC (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates sugardaddyplanet.us (the “Platform”). The service is for adults only. Read this Policy with our Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, Anti-Trafficking & No-Escort Policy and Trust & Safety Center.
1. The Age Requirement
To register, access or use the Platform you must be:
- at least 18 years old, and
- the age of majority in your state of residence if that age is higher than 18.
There are no exceptions. An account that belongs to a minor is deleted. We keep only what we need as evidence of the action and, where the law requires or permits it, we report to NCMEC or law enforcement.
By creating an account you represent that you meet this requirement and that the date of birth you give is true.
2. Why We Check Age
- To keep minors off an adults-only social network.
- To meet U.S. federal duties that apply to child sexual-abuse material and exploitation (including 18 U.S.C. § 2258A) and state age-assurance laws that apply to adult-oriented services.
- To reduce the risk that adult members encounter a minor.
- To support the Anti-Trafficking & No-Escort Policy.
COPPA applies to operators that collect personal information from children under 13. We do not direct the Platform at children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have, we delete it as Section 5 describes.
3. How Verification Works
We use what you declare, automated signals and, when required, a check against a government ID. No method is perfect (Section 9).
3.1 Declaration at sign-up
- Enter your date of birth.
- Confirm that you are at least 18 (or the higher age of majority in your state).
- Accept the Terms of Use, Privacy Policy and this Policy.
A false age statement breaches the Terms of Use and can be a crime if you help a minor get access or if you are a minor using an adult service.
3.2 Automated and manual signals
We may look at, among other things:
- Dates of birth or ages that do not match across the account.
- Photos that reasonably appear to show someone under 18.
- Language or reports that suggest a minor.
- Device, IP or payment signals associated with known abuse.
A signal can lead to a hold for more verification or to closure if the evidence is clear.
3.3 Document and live selfie (ONDATO)
We require a government-ID check in at least these cases:
- You are in a state whose law requires age verification for this type of service.
- The account was flagged by our checks or by a member report about age.
- You request a verified badge.
- We reasonably need more assurance.
Checks run through ONDATO, a third-party provider under a contract that limits use to our instructions. ONDATO compares the document image to a live selfie to confirm the document is being used by the person in front of the camera. We accept a valid U.S. or foreign passport, state ID or driver’s license. Expired, damaged or altered documents are rejected.
If you refuse a required check, we may suspend paid features or close the account.
3.4 Ongoing review
- A new age-related report starts another review.
- A material change (date of birth, photos, state) may trigger re-verification.
- We may sample accounts.
4. What Data Is Involved
| Step | Data |
|---|---|
| Self-declaration | Date of birth; confirmation that you meet the age rule |
| Signal checks | Profile text and photos; activity, IP and device signals; reports |
| Document + selfie | Image of the ID; live selfie; data printed on the ID (name, date of birth, document number, expiry); pass/fail result |
Government ID images and a live selfie are sensitive personal information under California law and similar state statutes. We use them only to confirm that you are an adult and, where needed, that you are the person on the document — not for advertising and not to infer other characteristics.
We do not use face data to track you across the web or over time on the Platform. Any comparison of selfie to ID is a one-time verification check. When the check is done, biometric templates (if ONDATO creates them) are deleted or held only by the provider under its retention schedule. We keep the result (verified / not verified, date, provider reference) on our side.
Retention of verification records: life of the account plus two years, unless a shorter period is required by the provider or a longer hold is required by law (for example a preservation request). Details: Privacy Policy.
Illinois BIPA and similar biometric statutes may apply if a scan of face geometry is stored. Our intent is that ONDATO perform the match and that we not build a standing biometric database. If you are in a biometric-privacy state and have a question, email us.
5. When We Find a Minor
If we determine, or have reasonable grounds to believe, an account belongs to someone under 18 (or under majority if higher), we:
- Suspend the account immediately.
- Email the registered address when we can do so safely. If the signal is ambiguous we may offer a short window to complete ID verification.
- Permanently delete the account if the suspicion is confirmed or verification fails.
- Delete the minor’s personal information except what we must keep to show we acted, to block re-registration, or to make a legally required report.
- Review whether adult users continued a sexual or romantic contact after a reasonable sign the other person was a minor.
- Report CSAM or child sexual exploitation to NCMEC under 18 U.S.C. § 2258A, and report to law enforcement where required or appropriate.
- Block associated signals (account email, and device or payment identifiers where lawful) to hinder re-registration.
6. Adults Who Target Minors
Zero tolerance for an adult who:
- Seeks, grooms or sexually or romantically engages a minor.
- Continues a conversation after a reasonable indication the other person is a minor, instead of stopping and reporting.
- Solicits or shares sexual content involving anyone under 18, including “age play” that sexualizes children.
Confirmed cases: permanent ban, no refund, preservation of relevant evidence, and reports to NCMEC and law enforcement as applicable. See the Refund Policy and Anti-Trafficking & No-Escort Policy.
7. Flagging a Suspected Minor
- Use Report on the profile or message and choose “Suspected minor.”
- Or email info@sugardaddyplanet.us with subject URGENT — Suspected minor.
We aim to acknowledge these reports within 24 hours. We do not tell the reported user who filed the report. If a child is in immediate danger, call 911 first.
8. State and Federal Age-Assurance Laws
Several U.S. states require covered adult-oriented sites to use a reasonable age-verification method before exposing residents to certain content. The list and the required method change (examples have included Louisiana, Texas, Utah, Virginia and others). Where such a law applies to the Platform and to a user in that state, we apply the method that law requires — which may mean a mandatory ONDATO check before full access.
Federal criminal law still applies nationwide: no sexual content involving minors, and mandatory NCMEC reports for CSAM.
We update this Policy and the verification flow when those statutes change. This page is not a list of every statute and is not legal advice to users.
9. No System Is Perfect
False documents, stolen IDs and determined minors can defeat controls. We use measures that are reasonable for a service of this kind and we improve them as tools and laws change. We act in good faith on reports and signals. That is not a guarantee that a minor can never create an account.
Circumventing verification — forged documents, using someone else’s ID, creating an account for a minor, or coaching a minor through the gate — is a serious Terms breach and may be a crime.
10. For Parents, Guardians and Educators
If you believe a minor in your care has an account, email info@sugardaddyplanet.us with subject Parental request — minor on the Platform and any username or email you have. We will:
- Investigate promptly.
- Suspend or delete an account that belongs to a minor.
- Delete the minor’s personal data as Section 5 and the Privacy Policy describe.
- Cooperate within the limits of law and other users’ privacy rights. We will not hand over another adult’s private messages without legal process except as Section 5 requires for a child-safety report.
11. Records
We keep internal logs of verification attempts and outcomes, age-related reports and the actions taken. Those records support safety work, legal process and improvement, as the Privacy Policy allows.
12. Changes
We may update this Policy. The “Last updated” date is the version in force. Material changes will be announced through the Platform or another reasonable channel.
